Was Ayden part of the "make a wish foundation"? He looks so cute in all those pics. I bet it's hard to go anywhere without people stopping you and talking about how cute he is. Val Dean started wearing glasses at 6 months old and I would hate to go in public because everyone would stop us. It always too about 20 minutes longer in a grocery store. I have been meaning to ask you something.... Last year Val Deans ankles started popping out of socket. He would cry when it happened and then his feet would turn outward for a long time (a few months) and he would become extremely unstable. We took him to shrinners but by the time we got in his ankles were no longer out. They tried braces to keep his ankles in but they were so uncomfortable and made him even more unstable. After about 4 months we were more careful about the way we grabbed his ankles and eventually they stopped popping out. Well last week they started popping out again. This is the same time as last year. I am wondering if it has anything to do with the type of shoe we put one him. Maybe winter shoes hold his ankles in better. I don't know. Anyway I am wondering if Ayden or any other kid you have come across has a similar problem. Sorry for the long message!
I am 4 years old & I came into the world early .I was taken to a different hospital because I couldnt breathe. At this hospital I was diagnosed with severe Spondyloepipseal dysplasia congenita,Dwarfism.I needed a tube to eat & breathe.I have gone through 15 surgeries & kicked butt everytime.Mommy says I'm the toughest kid she knows.I was really sick for 3 years so my Mommy & Daddy took me to Cincinnati Childrens Hospital & they made me all better. In May 2008 Dr. Cotton in cincinnati took my rib cartalidge out & put it into my trachea & took my trachy out,now I can breathe all by myself!!!Since getting my trachy out,I went to the beach for my first time ever!!,I had so much fun building venom sand castles.& I got to go camping & fishing & touch a real frog!!!I have another big surgery to go,a third of my stomach is in my chest cavity & sometimes gives me a tummy ache, but mommy & daddy tell me how brave I am,so I know I can overcome anything, just like a real superhero!!.......................SED congenita, tracheomalacia, nissen & G-T,Trach,paraesophegeal hirnea,C-spine instabilities.RESOLVED laringeal, bronco malacia, pierre robin sequence, cleft palate, retching
